Tax avoidance, a major issue in Indonesia to date, is responsible for the lower tax ratio compared to other ASEAN countries and the country's losses. As such, this research aims to provide the empirical evidence of the effect of CEO tenure, financial distress, and sales growth on tax avoidance. The population includes consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2020 - 2022, from which 102 samples of 34 companies were selected through purposive sampling, and analyzed by panel data utilizing a fixed effect model processed by E-views 12. The results of this research exhibit that financial distress has a positive effect on tax avoidance, and CEO tenure and sales growth have no effect on tax avoidance.
